Solar park Winden: sustainable redevelopment with 6.2 MW of solar power

Solar Park Winden will be built on a 4.5-acre site previously affected by the bark beetle. This redevelopment will give the area a new, sustainable function. The solar park will have a planned capacity of 6.2 MW and will produce about 6.2 million kWh of green electricity annually. This is expected to enable the park to supply about 2,000 households with renewable electricity. The start of construction is scheduled for February 2026, after which the solar park will be commissioned in the summer of 2026. This project will make an important contribution to a climate-friendly energy supply in the Winden region.
