Solar Park Snelle Loop, Beek En Donk – Ampyr Solar Europe

Utility-scale solar energy with potential for future battery storage

In Beek en Donk, Aton Projects delivered the Snelle Loop solar park for Ampyr Solar Europe, comprising 37,287 solar panels and a total capacity of 26.5 MWp. The solar park is expected to generate enough renewable electricity to supply approximately 9,000 households while avoiding around 12,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually. What makes this project particularly distinctive is the planned addition of a Battery Energy Storage System, which will enable the generated energy to be used more flexibly in the future. The scale and expansion potential of the project required careful coordination of all technical and logistical activities. The result underlines our experience in delivering future-oriented utility-scale solar parks.
