In Bärwalde, Aton Projects delivered a solar park for Vattenfall comprising 29,133 solar panels and a total capacity of 18.1 MWp. What makes this project particularly distinctive is its location: a former military site in Saxony has been given a new and sustainable purpose. A site with a complex past now contributes to Germany’s energy transition. The scale of the project required careful coordination of all technical and logistical activities. The result underlines our experience in delivering utility-scale solar parks in Germany.
