The RWE Kerkrade solar park stands out as the first large-scale ground-mounted solar park of RWE in the Netherlands. The project was fully realized turnkey in a record time of just eight months by Aton Projects, who were responsible for design, procurement, construction, and maintenance. Thanks to the use of SMA inverters and a robust steel foundation, the park is designed for maximum reliability and a long lifespan. Additionally, great attention was paid to careful landscape integration, allowing the installation to blend harmoniously into the Limburg hills. The project thus symbolizes the strong collaboration between an international energy supplier and a Dutch EPC specialist, with sustainability and quality as the foundation.
