Solar carports

Land is scarce in the Netherlands. That’s why we are constantly exploring ways, together with our customers, to generate solar energy without taking additional space from the environment. Covering parking spaces with solar carports is a great example of this.

There are several advantages to covering parking areas with solar carports. The carports keep vehicles cool in the shade on warm sunny days, while generating solar energy at the same time. By also fitting solar carports with charging units for electric vehicles, more power can be consumed on-site in the future.
