Aton Projects designs, supplies, and installs large-scale solar energy systems. We have extensive experience with roof-mounted solar parks as much as ground-mounted ones. With ground-mounted systems, we focus heavily on multi-purpose use. We offer solutions for solar panel systems on former landfill sites, embankments, noise barriers, carports, and even on water.

Roof-mounted systems

Aton Projects has extensive experience in installing PV systems on large roofs. With distribution centres in the Netherlands becoming ever vaster, the definition of a large roof has changed quite a bit in recent years. Aton Projects designs PV systems for roofs measuring several thousand square metres to vast distribution and operations buildings of several hectares.

Solar parks

Aton Projects was one of the first companies in the Netherlands building a ground-mounted solar park, so we have extensive knowledge and experience in this field. All our parks are maintained by our own Operations & Maintenance (O&M) department. This supports us to design even better solar parks and keep the costs as low as possible for our customers.

Solar carports

Land is scarce in the Netherlands. That’s why we are constantly exploring ways, together with our customers, to generate solar energy without taking additional space from the environment. Covering parking spaces with solar carports is a great example of this.

Floating solar parks

The solar energy industry is constantly looking to generate solar power in innovative ways. Solar parks that float on water are one such new way of generating solar energy on a large scale. This technique offers new possibilities and even some advantages over solar panels on roofs and in fields.
